Great base for long weekend, has scenic view of the lake. The rooms are well-stocked and spacious and they have climate control, multi-channel television, and a microwave. Private bathroom is clean. The location it offers is favourable, near a great convenience store and several restaurants in the area and Branson for a 2 night 3 day trip and other activities.

The kids loved splashing around while we kicked back on the sun loungers. Just a heads up, there wasn't a hair blow dryer, but we brought our own, so no biggie 😊

nice stay but needs minor improvements
The lake view from our studio was fine each morning. We really enjoyed the fully equipped kitchenette, which allowed us to prepare our meals with ease. Hearing the soothing sounds of nature at night, like the crickets and owls, added to the charm of our stay.
The bathroom could use an update.

Calm Waters Resort was just what we were looking for. Quiet, relaxing, beautiful views, and close to everything we wanted to do! It was very clean and the staff were more than helpful! The unit was spacious, well stocked. Each unit had a private charcoal grill. Staff were visible on site maintaining the property. The views of the lake and the access to the dock was awesome. They allowed my dog to stay. They had a firepit area ready each evening for smores etc. The kids loved the pool and enjoyed kayaking and paddleboarding. Easy walk down to the dock where they had kayaks and canoes for use in a no-wake cove. Everything we needed for a long weekend stay in the kitchenette. Hosts were kind and gracious. Love that they’re dog friendly. Had a great time making s’mores at the common fire pit. Each cabin had their own grill, too.
Would recommend this hotel.
